Ethernet does not work

Hi,

i have a Sun Sparc 10, but after the Memory test it hangs. Waiting for RAP/RARP Packet. I have a Twisted Pair Ethernet cable.

I type watch-net and I become the message:

Using TP Ethernet Interfache

Lance register testsucceeded.

Internal loopback testsucceeded.

External loopback testsucceeded.

Looking for Ethernet packets.

.Is a good packet. xis a bad backet.

Type any key to stop.

But than it stops. I become not a . or a X.

What could it be?
