Revision Confusion

Basic question:

How do I identify Solaris 8 version?

We have numerous machines (60s, 80s, V240s, etc) all loaded with Solaris 8 07/03 (and earlier). Some software we are loading requires us to have Solaris 8 02/04. uname -a gives me tons of info, I suspect that the "generic_108528-29" identifies the patch version. Is there a way I can interpret those numbers so as to identify the machines with Sol8 02/04 loaded?

Thank you in advance

Bill

To see what was originally installed: cat /etc/release
