280r and V440 Mibs

Hello All,

I am new to Sun and Unix and I need help with obtaining Mibs for SNMP monitoring. I have two 280r's and a v440. I want to be able to monitor CPU proformance, Memory utilization, Storage and Interface proformance. Can some one help me with getting these mibs?

Hi Chris,On Solaris sun machines (desktops) the MIBs supported by the default SNMP agentwhere traditionally located in /var/snmp/mib.Hope this helps,-- daniel

I would not worry about any of the standard Sun SNMP stuff. You could use SunMC (which has no licencing limits anymore as long as you dont want support then you have to pay) or even better Net-SNMP. Solaris 10 has it as standard and it gives all sorts of good stuff. I recommend it.
