Autoboot on SUN Fire V240

Hi,

I have installed SOLARIS on SUN Fire Server. I have some problems with electric current and when I have a cut off I must initiate SUN manually.

I have modified the variables on eeprom:

auto-boot-on-error?=true

error-reset-recovery=sync

auto-boot?=true

boot-command=boot

but without results.

Somebody knows as I can make this?

Thanks a lot

Your question "Autoboot on Solaris" has already been answered !

Why do you re-post ?

yejubcs,

I provided you with an answer over in that other forum.

I suggested you SEARCH these forums.

Did you ?

The resolution would have been found from such a search.

(there are only nine results when searching on keyword "<i><u>error-reset-recovery</u></i>".)

You would have found a posting from 21-SEP-04 that links directly to a Spectrum document.

InfoDoc 74713

"Sun Fire[TM] V210/240/440 servers: How to set up systems to power up automatically?"

Spectrum document == you need a service contract to access its information, else you can open a Time-and-Materials support case with Sun and pay on a per incident basis.
