Have you tried to boot to single users mode?

I have the exact same problem.

typing '#.' I get the LON prompt, but I can't type anything at the prompt.

I did a portscan and found out that there is a telnet server listening at port 23, but cannot login through telnet. I can reach port 23, but don't get a user/pass prompt.

any ideas?

cheers,

markus

What my problem turned out to be was Veritas was running on the system that the Netra was lookning to for its multicast gateway and that port did not get reset on the other system at reboot, once I fixed the qfe port then it booted up.ThanksScot
