Sun e250 CDROM Issue

I am trying to load Solaris 10 on an E250. All was going fine... I did a "boot cdrom" from the ok prompt and started the install. I selected to do the full install. When the installation prompted me for the second disk, it would not accept any of the disks that I have as the second disk. I chose to skip the disk, and went on and had it to do the same thing for each disk during the install. So, therefore what I ended up with when it was over with was just what I guess is a core OS install. I figured I had did something wrong, and just figured I would try to reload the box. Now everytime I put a CD in the cdrom it just ejects it back out. I have read about similiar sounding problems on this message board about Solaris 10, but mine even does this at the "ok" prompt before the OS boots. No matter what I try the cdrom will just eject any cd that I put in it. Is there a problem with the cdrom?

Thanks,

Brandon Cooper

Your CDROM could be failing, continuously ejecting CDROM is a typical sign. Can you run iostat -En from the shell to see if there are any hard errors.
