System won't boot hangs

I have tipped into a 420r and during the reboot all that I see is the following:

SunOS release 5.6 generic

Copyright (c) 1983-1998, Sun Microsystems, Inc.

Note: This server used to have a graphics card in it but was removed

about 6 months ago but the server has been running fine since then until todays scheduled reboot.

Any ideas would be a great help

Thanks

Have you tried to get to obp and reconfigure the prom? As the banner is being loaded hit tilde and hash, that should send a break and drop you to ok, perhaps a " set-defaults " will clear any previous input/output device settings.

set-defaults at OK prompt then boot the system with boot -r
