Sun Fire V210 - PSU @ PS0 has FAULTED

Hi everbody,

has anyone of you experienced this and helps me understand what is going on?

The ONLY powersupply of our Sun Fire V210 seems to be faulted (but not failed!).

LEDs indicate that, but everything still works.

I get this error message on the console every 15 minutes:

Apr 4 13:01:05 loop rmclomv: [ID 211032 kern.error] PSU @ PS0 has FAULTED.

here is the ALOM SC-Environment:

Seems to me the fan inside the PS is rotating too slowly as the "underspeed" status is on. So far "overtemp" is not on.

replace the PSU and while you are there I would add a second one as well.

Thanks a lot for help.I didn't realize that there is a fan for the PS only and that it is monitored as well. There is no second PS possible in V210. Only in V240. Arndt

Did replacing the power supply sort out the problem?I am receiving the same error message and my server is only 14 months old, 2 months over warranty and Sun want 100 just to answer my call.
