V210 power fault, what is "underspeed" for the powersupply ?

Hello,

I have some V210 servers and one of it send me this messages :

Message:"MAJOR: PSU @ PS0 has FAULTED."

If I look the "showenvironment" on the RSC I have this :

--

Power Supply Indicators:

--

SupplyActive Service OK-to-Remove

--

PS0OFFONOFF

Power Supplies:

Supply Status Underspeed Overtemp Overvolt Undervolt Overcurrent

PS0FAULTED ON OFFOFFOFFOFF

So PS0 is faulted, but whay is "Underspeed" in the power supply ?

Regards

Claude

I would imagine the fan speed, inside the power supply, is being monitored as well as the temperature, current & voltage. There is an integral fan according to: http://sunsolve.sun.com/handbook_pub/Devices/DC_Power/DCPOWE R_Astec_1566_320W.html

Did you manage to resolve this issue, did you need to replace the power supply. I am having the same problem.

Surely this isn't normal!!!. Mine is failing after only 14 months of use, surely a Sun power supply should last a lot longer than a year. Were your power supplies still under warranty and did Sun replace them free of charge.
