mwzhang,
I got the same error as you have.
Have you already got the answer or not ?
Would you please help me if you already got the answer.
I use the following comman to deploy. =>
pdeploy deploy -u amAdmin -w ampasswd -g -p ampasswd -v C:\Sun\PortalServer\tmp\portlet\portletsamples.war
error message =>
errorStoreDP (sms-UNKNOWN_EXCEPTION_OCCURRED)
Deploying to IWS
Thanks

Hi,
I am sorry but I really don't have answer for the problem I mentioned in this thread.
First of all, what I installed was 2005Q4 for windows.
It's been working for me once a while, then I think I re-deployed
a portlet without undeploy it or vice versa.. then i received
that error. In the end I removed 2005Q4 from control panel and
re-install that thing using another set of ID/PWD. I've been repeating this several times, sometimes it works, sometimes not.
I even wipe out my hard drive once a time to re-install the OS then 2005Q4.
it's painful. I talked with JES support staff, they said there are bugs
on 2005Q4 but they have them addressed in version 7...
After you remove it from control panel, make sure run regedit to see
all JES related entries have been removed from HKEY-LOCAL-
MACHINE/Software.
I don't have this problem anymore since I got an Unix box, so far
2005Q4 seems to be working fine on Unix.
hope this can help
