Portal 6.3 logging

Can someone tell me how to turn on logging for the 6.3 Portal server. I get an error on the the desktop saying that it can not find the content of a newly published channel. It would be useful for debugging my application to be able to see the logging.

In the windows platform I have found the Sun\AccessManager\debug\desktop.debug file that contains some of the errors that I am seeing. Is there a way to make this file more verbose.

You can modify the desktopconfig.properties file. On Solaris, this file is in /etc/opt/SUNWps/desktop. I can't remember the exact location on Windows. The parameter is debugLevel=message- Jim
