owa 2003 rewriting inside textarea problem
Hi,
We have a rewriting problem with owa 2003. The problem is that in IE in a mail that contains images, the images are not shown. Because the html source of the mail body is inside a textarea and therefore is not rewritten.
I cannot see the script that is used to create this rendered html source in IE (in mozilla the images work fine), neither when clicking the mail neither in the preview pane.
Did someone else experience this problem or has a solution?
Tim

Do other forum users have experiences concerning owa2003 through jes portal? Using mozilla all works fine, but i experience many issues using internet explorer.
It's usable, but there are a lot of rewriter issues, though i am using the owa2003 ruleset from the latest patch:
- when accepting an appointment: a box pops up telling me it is not possible to accept
-when logging out, you get redirected outside the portal
-the above problem: the preview pane contains a textarea tag, which seems to make it impossible to rewrite urls in it.
-the snooze and dismiss buttons do not work.
sometimes it seems to crash the browser.
Tell me you experiences...
Greets,
Tim

Hi tim,
What version are you using? (portal?) and just to confirm what patch are you trying? just recently (within the last 1-2 revisions) there was some fixes for OWA 2003. Just want to ensure your on the 'latest of late' patches.
118263-18 is current today (5-15) for 6.3, aka [JES2] just look and ensure your version has the readme bugID which is something to the effect of OWA2003 and logouts.
I've heard that Exchange service packs cause problems with the original rewriter rulesets too...
