Have you reviewed the <a href="http://www.sun.com/bigadmin/hcl/" target="_blank">Hardware Compatibility List (HCL) </a> ?
Solaris doesn't particularly do Wi-Fi at the present time.
However the beta versions of the OS,
Solaris Express (Sol-11) and OpenSolaris
have supposed to have extensive abilities for it.
so.. now i wonder if i can use ndiswrapper (like with the unix/linux OS) to install windows drivers (*.inf) .. or... use realtek r8180 driver (DWL-510 = r8180).. but i can't find this driver on the HCL
well... if not... my solaris 10 would not be networking OS... a'm i right?
Thank you, Soerendam,
That's exactly what I was referring to in my original response, so long ago.
Hardware functional compatibility is from the Beta
and development-level distributions of the OS,
not from the stable commercial-quality distribution of Solaris.
