Sun Trunking Configuration

Hi,

I'm using Sun Trunking version 1.31 with Solaris 9.

The problem I am seeing is an error print in the var/adm/messages file

Hardware address '<MAC ADDRESS>' trying to be our address

but the mac address stated is the MAC Address of the *unit itself*, I could do with help with what to configure to avoid this message

did you set local-mac-address? to be true? what does ifconfig -a show? what was the nettr -setup cmd you ran?

check the speed and duplex settings of the server interface and the switch side ports whether they are in the same line.the interfaces you are trunking connected to the switch must be in the same speed and duplex setting.
