srsadm: config_pvr_exec: cannot open /dev/rdsk/c0t0d0s0: No such file or directory

When run from cron, the following command:

/opt/SUNWsrsep/bin/eras_pvr_runner eras_pvr 003.000.004 IM-NC_ENG-eras_pvr /tmp/eras_pvr 3348000 application/x-gtar

gives the error message :

" srsadm: [ID 702911 daemon.error] PROVIDER RUNNER WARNING: /opt/SUNWsrscp/lib/config_pvr_exec-5.8 output 'cannot open /dev/rdsk/c0t0d0s0: No such file or directory "

When run it from the commandline (as srsadm), I don't get the error message. I've even run it with a '-s' option and watched the stderr messages in /tmp/eras_pvr/out. None of them mention /dev/rdsk*.

The file /dev/rdsk/c0t0d0s0 definately exists:"lrwxrwxrwx1 rootroot 45 Oct 27 2003 /dev/rdsk/c0t0d0s0 "

I'm new to NetConnect and don't know how to troubleshoot: what logfiles to check etc. Please point me in the right direction.
