SRS 3.x High CPU Usage

According to the docs the impact of the SRS software does not use more then 1% cpu, however, I am seeing much different results on a relatively idle oracle database server. This is a 280R 2x900 Mhz 8gb system running Solaris 8 64-bit with latest patch cluster as of Mar 2004. The storage is SAN attached via JNI FCE-6460 HBA's. The NIC is copper gigabit (X1150A) and connected to a dedicated switched port. (1gb)

Here is a snapshot of top:

CPU states:% idle,% user,% kernel,% iowait,% swap

Memory: 8.0G real, 4.6G free, 2.1G swap in use, 12.1G swap free

PID USERNAME THR PR NCE SIZERES STATETIME FLTSCPU COMMAND

20053 root6 580 11.2M 10.8M sleep 395:090 16.06% event_pvr_exec-

Anyone else seeing similiar results?

Thx,

Rhugga

Try upgrading to the latest Net Connect (3.2.x) available on the portal and see if the problem still occurs.
