Linux Platform Compatability

In the system requirements it states that SMQ runs on Red Hat Enterprise Linux AS 2.1 Update 2, AS 3.0 Update 1

(Will it run fine on other flavors of Linux?)

More specifically does this mean that it won't run on Red Hat Enterprise Linux ES?

I am less familiar with Linux but have been using Sun Message queue on Solaris/SPARC for some time and would appreciate anyones feedback on this.

Thanks

We have not tested MQ (which is why its not support) on that platform, however it "should" work.If you run into any MQ problems that require Support from Sun, you may need to duplicate the problem on a supported platform (it depends on the platform)

Ok. thanks for the response. It looks like we're running with ES for now so hopefully everything runs ok.
