Explorer 5.1 and NC 3.2.01

I have Sun explorer 5.1 already installed on my systems. When I go to install NC 3.2.01, the installation script tells me I have v 5.1 installed, then asks if I want to "upgrade" to version 5.0. I select no, and when it prompts me to install the SUNWexplo and SUNWexplu packages, I also select no. The installation finishes fine, however under NetConnect software the eras_pvr.003. software is not listed in the "Updates" column, which I believe means I won't be able to send Sun Explorer output.

Anybody know how to get NC 3.2.1 to work with Explorer 5.1, without having to uninstall Explorer, then re-install after NC3.2.1?

NC can only work with the version of Explorer that it comes with, so you do need to downgrade to 5.0. There is no workaround.

Or you may just want to wait for the NC 3.2.2 release due in mid-October as that will no longer have a dependancy on the explorer version, it will be able to work with all explorer versions.
