The Window Manager displays 齆ot Licensed?br>

I installed Trusted Solaris Certified Edition and the window manager displayed "Certified Edition" at the far right on the trusted stripe but I later re-installed and now the window manager displays 齆ot Licensed?

When you first logged in after installation, it will ask you if you agree to the license - if you agree, you would get the Certified Edition in the window.

You should try logging in as 'install' again to see if it prompts you if you agree to the license - when you click yes, on your next login, the Not Licensed will be replaced with Certified Edition.

I've deleted the install user. Is there another way to get the license agreement popup again?

Can you please state what released (12/02 or 7/03) of Trusted Solaris you are using? Where the licensing information is stored is different for those two releases.

I had the same problem. The license agreement puts a file in /etc/security/tsol/home/install named .licensed. When you delete the install account, you delete this file. You can recreate the file by touching it. But you also need to add the install account back. The next version of Trusted Solaris should fix this.

Do we know if this problem is fixed in the newer release, i.e. 7/03 or 2/04?
