Security mode

I have install Red Hat 4.0 and SGD 4.2.909.

when install tta-4.20-909.i386.rpm it works fine.

When I install security with firewall forwarding 443

ttasecure-4.20-909.i386.rpm the services start but, when I try to connect

to SGD in classic webtop the erro mensage:

Sun Secure Global Desktop Software 4.20.909 Error

The client address "192.168.10.8" does not match any entry in the

server-dns-external attribute. Please contact the server administrator to

fix this.

This configuration is the same used in version 4.1 version.

server-dns-external: *:wks09.intranet.br

The client S.O is Windows XP

What is wrong?

Ricardo,

Could you try the following:

In /opt/tarantella/etc/pkg create a file called datadir with owner 'root'

and group 'sys'.

The permissions should be read only for everybody.

In this file add the line:

/opt/tarantella/var

Do you still see the problem?

Alternatively you should be able to use https://<server>/sgd

Hi Sue,

Thank's a lot.

It works.

I install in /usr/tarantella with rpm --prefix /usr/tarantella and when

install ttasecure the install script change the attributes of

/usr/tarantella/etc/pkg/datadir to ttasys:ttaserv and put the default path

/opt/tarantella/var in order to /usr/tarantella/var.

Please we need to correct the instalation ttasecure script to verify the

alternate path like /usr/tarantella/var.
