Launching Word through Tarantella
I am trying to get a feel for using Tarantella across a broad range of
servers and applications. The one I'm having most bother with is Windows
applications. Can anyone help.
In order to understand how they work better I thought I'd try and
configure Microsoft word to run using tarantella on my local PC.
Tarantella itself is installed on a LIUNX server in a test lab which I am
able to communicate with.
Steps Taken:
Configured a new host (My PC) and filled out the following
Name : My Comp
Addrss : IP Address of my PC
Windows NT Domain Name : AGILENT (Is this correct?)
Ticked the 'Available to run applications' button
Authentication : Use array-wide authentication
Configured new application : In this case word.
Name : Word
Windows Protocol : Windows RDP
Ticked the try running from client first
Windows NT Domain : AGILENT
Application Command : c:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office\WINDWORD.EXE
Display Using : Webtop
rest were left as default
I added My Comp to hosts and set Seen By to NT User Profile and
Applications
When I try to launch it from tarantella I get
Starting...
Locating session...
..found session
Connecting to session...
EOF on AIP/L circuit, reading header byte 0[java.io.IOException]
Does anyone have any suggestions what I have done wrong?

You need a Windows Terminal Server to host Word from not your local PC.
