TTA 4.1: Cannot connect to tarantellaservername:443 - Explained

Read my reply to an earlier post (one month ago) by 007james:

Find out what Certificate Authority signed your SSL certificate. Check

your Windows OS for expired root certificates from the Certificate

Authoroty just mentioned. Delete any expired ones.

We have this problem as well.

Because we mainly use Windows clients here is what we do: There are two

expired Thawte root certificates in Intermediate Certificates (WinXP ->

Internet Options -> Content -> Certificates ...).

Basically Microsoft has failed to remove these expired root certificates

from its most recent Windows XP SP2 installations.

Daniel

Daniel,I have tried what you suggested and it still does not work for me.

I am behind a proxy. I have even tried your demo site (sgd) and I still

get the same from my server and your server:

Cannot connect servername:443

All help is appreciated,

thanks

James
