How to Change FQDN for a server?

How do I change a server with one FQDN to completely different one. We

setup a box with TTA's version of Apache, a temporary certificate(I know I

need to change this part), and TTA 4.1.

The managed hosting site gave us our server before we had our DNS act

together, so we are going from:

mynewbox.myhost.com

to

newbox.mycompany.com

Also, what entries do I need to put in the /etc/host file for

Tarantella/Apache, if any?

Hi Cyrus

If you can the best procedure is probably to put the server

into an array. Take the host out of the array when it has

the old DNS, reinstall when it has the new DNS and join the

array to get your datastore back.

If you've already made the DNS change, I think there is a

procedure for manually repairing the installation but you

will need to contact support because the process is not

without complications.
