SGD4 and printing.

Hello,

I can't seem to get printing to do anything in SGD4. It's very frustrating

as this is the fourth version of TTA I have installed on several O.S.'s in

the last couple of years and this is the first time I can't get printing to

do anything. I have followed all the documentation and all suggestions

according to Tarantella. I am trying to get print mapping to work from the

SGD server to Windows app servers. I am using Solaris 9 w/ SGD4 and Windows

2000/2003 servers. The lp daemon is running, tarantella print status

displays tta_printer as working and the client printer is mapped already in

the /opt/tarantella/etc/data directory. The problem is that I get no print

mapping in Windows and no errors in the event logs. The only thing that is

created is the Tarantella port on Windows server. Normally this would

indicate that I have to map the printer and that the Windows servers should

have something in the event logs with event id 1111 and 1106......but

nothing there. Not only that, the TTA server logs are not displaying any

print-related errors whatsoever! Anyone have any clue what may be wrong? TIA

Never mind. My Windows admin decided to disable client printers at the

domain level and didn't tell me about it.
