it's sound you can try to connect via telnet is your sshd running if yes

you can change the type of connection to the application you need to

make this in the objectmanager with

install_dir/tarantella/bin/tarantella objectmanagercheck in your

application the type of connection in the objectmanager case is ssh if

you need use telnet you need to start the server of telner in you RHEL

Martin,

What connection method is your Object Manager using?

Use the following command:

# /opt/tarantella/bin/tarantella object list_attributes --name

".../_ens/o=Tarantella System Objects/cn=Object Manager" --method

If it shows ssh, can you make sure that you have X11 Forwarding turned on in

/etc/ssh/ssh_config and /etc/ssh/sshd_config. After you had made the

changes, make sure that you restart your sshd using "/etc/init.d/sshd

restart"

Let us know if this helps.

Regards,

David

see :[root@btlinux bin]# /opt/tarantella/bin/tarantella object

list_attributes --name ".../_ens/o=Tarantella System Objects/cn=Object

Manager" --method

Attributes for .../_ens/o=Tarantella System Objects/cn=Object Manager:

How i can change Connectin method to SSH. Telnet is enabled on my server

Can you please tell me why it is not working with Telnet. I need either
