How can i supply Administrator name \\\'root\\\' for

tarantella config list

command?

Neither \\\"_user/root\\\" not .../_ens/o=mycompany/cn=root

works, the program keeps on asking the user name.

My Tarantella is going grazy: command

tarantella stop

prompts user name, even though I have logged in as root. When I give user

name root and the correct pw for it, tarantella says The username you

typed was ambiguous etc.

I am totalle locked behind some odd ambiguous username (bug?).

Try running "tarantella setup" and restore the setup (there is an option

that allows you to do that).

I have restored, many times, already and retyped

settings over and over again.

The basic problem is, that tta _does not accept_

root as user id, after a while.

Strange thing is, that when i retype root credentials many times, I

finally get into Object manager. Anyway, last time I got some message

which said that i have not configure SecureID server. However, SecureId is

set Off in

Array Manager.

will tta 3.20.907 function on SusE 8.2 at all?

Hi.

3.20 is old as the hills.

Are you in the position to give at least 3.42 o v4 a try ?

Yes, I gave a try for v4 on suse9.2, using Apache2.053. But Array Manager

log says: (Launch details) 'unable to open display ""'. And here I am

again...

t, Martti

are you using SSH as your connection method? If so, have you configured

SSH for Forwarding X11?

Also what is the output of

$ /opt/tarantella/bin/tarantella config list --security-xsecurity
