SGD EE 4 - Can not open application
Hello all.
I have installed the newest SGD Version (4.0.903) on a Red Hat
Enterprise 3.0.
I really liked the new product, but unfortunelly I am facing some
problems. The main problem occurs when the user try to launch an
application using the new Webtop (http://server/sgd). This is the
message that appear when the user click on the Application icon:
"Application launch .../_ens/o=organization/ou=OST/cn=Desktop Win2003
failed. The reason given was:
ErrLaunchPolicyNotFound"
If the user connects using the old Webtop (http://server/tarantella),
the application works fine.

Not sure if I can help here; back in 2002, a TTA's engineer wrote that
was a known issue and that it'd be fixed in the next release.
I don't think it relates to E4 but what about checking with TTA's support?

i have the same error this error indicate the login autorithy is no
working fine in my case the login autorithy active directory doesn't
work and ldap too doesn't work i need to use nt autorithy and never see
again this error
after i put to delete all tta product and install in new server and
check the ldap autority and works fine but the active directory doesn't
work maybe have a error with active directory because when i use
ldap://server tta make the link to autorithy but when use ad://server is
to make the link to autority but when i try to run any application show
me de same error ErrLauchPolicyNotFound and i correct change it the
autority with ldap or nt autorithy
