Special Character Mappings
We have access to a Tarantella Enterprise 3 installation.
When using IE we have proper character mappings i.e. the pipe "|" or @ is
correct. For various reasons we can not use IE as browser at work so we
tried Netscape/Mozilla/Firefox in which instead of | we get a ^_. Many
special characters are not properly mapped in those browsers.
Tha native client works well. I don't know how to fix this, I assume it is
a Browser issue.
Did anyboday already encountered and fixed a similar problem.

Probably a Java issue not the browser. By using the Native Client you
have shown that it's probably related to Java. What version of the Sun
JVM are you using? We are recommending 1.4.2_05+ or 1.5 with use
Netscape browsers.

I use JDK 1.4.2.06, should I try 1.5? I tried with Netscape 1.7.3.
Thanks for your help. As we need these UNIX special Characters rather
often, and not all can use the native client, we really need this to work.
