Server 2003 drive mapping
I've searched the news group first. Sorry if i missed this.
We have an older copy of VisionFS and a new copy of windows server 2003.
when I logon to the 2003 server i cannot browse the visionfs computer.
When i logon to a windows 2000 box, i can browse the computer and
shared folders.
Both 2003 and visionfs are set to encrypted passwords, but i heard
theres problems with 2003...
am i making sense?
I need to map a visionfs share in windows server 2003.
Thank you...

You have the wrong newsgroup, you want
tarantella.public.vision-family
VisionFS does not support Windows 2003
http://www.tarantella.com/support/faqv2k.html#v2kw2k
You may want to try 3.10.911 version of VisionFS but there is no
guarantee that it will work.

VisionFS does not support it?
Does that mean it totaly won't work, or the VisionFS team just won't go
there?
We're running version 3.0 - we're not really looking forword to
upgrading it.I'd rather just find a fix for Server 2003.

officially VisionFS does not support Windows 2003 as we have not any
testing of it.

It might work, but no guarantees, so therefore the Tarantella support
will not go there. But any testing should be done with the latest
version and not the version you currently have.

What operating system are you running 3.0 on? I ask as the upgrade to
3.10 + 911 patch might be free. This is true for OpenServer 5.0.5 -
5.0.6 & UnixWare 7.11.
There is no patch for 3.0 that would bring you upto 3.10.
