helpURL value in DisplayProfile Properties doesn't seem to be working

I'm trying to override all of the help icons by removing them from every portlet (channel). I've tried to place the helpURL value = "" into the DP Properties, but it doesn't seem to do anything.

If I wanted to go through and put it in every channel, then yes, it works, but that's a major hassle as we have so many channels configured.

Is there an easier way to do this?
