Uninstalling Access Manager 2005Q1

Hi,

We were trying to uninstall 2005 Q1 Sun Java system Portal server installed on Solaris 9 machine. The dir /opt/sun/SunWbsserver got removed but when we try to install a new version of Sun Java server(2005 Q4) we get a conflict. It says that I have to resolve it to install the new Access Manager.

Could you let me know how can I uninstall Access manager completely from the system?

(Like, do I need to remove any entries, files etc)..

Thanks!!

After uninstalling access manager, you need to do the post uninstallation. Check the below link for details.

http://docs.sun.com/source/819-0056/uninstall.html#wp45723

Also, if your uninstallation failed, you can do manual clean up... check this...
