Reconfiguring the portal to talk to new ldap servers

When we installed our 6.3 portal server, we installed the ldap on the same box.

Since then we have set up two multi master ldaps on separate machines. I created a replication agreement to push the portals ldap to these new boxes.

I would now like to repoint the portal to use the 2 new ldaps and be able to shut down the original ldap on the portal server.

I edited the serverconfig.xml file to only have the 2 new ldaps. I added the new ldaps in the amconsole and removed the reference to the original. However, after all this it is not working. It seems like it is still trying to go to the original ldap for the user desktop and the admin console as well.

Any ideas what else I need to do?

Hi!The original server(s) are in a lot of attributes. I once replaced them all manually (ldif export, search for the server and edit the attributes then)Its a pain, but it should work!Dont forget to make a db2ldif before you change anything!hthChris
