Portal 6.3.1 Gateway Issue
portal 6.3.1 (Jes2005q1).. solaris 2.9...
gateway on one server
portal on other
when i try to access the portal through the gateway on -
https://blk.domain.com/http://lch.domain.com:8080/amserver/UI/Login?org=lga + username pwd params
it works fine....
when i try to access it on -
https://www.domain2.com/http://lch.domain.com:8080/amserver/UI/Login?org=lgo + username + passwd params
it doesnt work. THE ONLY DIFFERENCE being the hostname of the gateway i am supplying.
i have tried adding gateway.virtualhost for www.domain2.com to the gateway's platform config file.
both gateway names resolve to the correct ip.
i have tried adding a fqdn mapping for access manager config on both portal and gateway.
still wont work.
any ideas on what has to be done to make it accessible via the an alternate url, in this case the www.domain2.com alternate alias.
NOTE: gateway.virtualhost seemed to fix this issue for portal 6.2..
