Identity Synchronization for Windows: problem with object deletion

Hi,

I' ve set up a replication between an AD and a DS through ISW. All I want to be able to do is to synchronize the flow of changes from AD to DS (i.e. user creation, pwd change and user deletion)

Things work well for object creation and password change (done several times), but the user deletion did not work. Worst of all, the logs do not seem to have this information at all (e.g. a failed attempt, or so).

The ISW console indicates for Synchronization and Configuration Directory status "Started", whereas for Message Bus and System Manager, there is a status "Unknown" (does this indicate a problem with the MQ?). The connectors seem to work fine ("SYNCING" both at the console and with printstat at the command line).

In the "Configuration" tab of the console, I' ve set up the following: "Attribute Modification" -> flow from Win to DS, "Object Creation" -> creations flow from Win to DS and respectively, "Object Deletion" -> deletions flow from AD to DS.

I would appreciate any help on my user deletion problem.

btw, has anyone installed the System Message Queue 3.5 SP2?

Thanks

Your problem sounds specific to Directory Server. Try posting your question to the Directory Server Forum.

Maybe too late, but i've this same problem and i got a solution:

Just open ISW console and access something that the ISW console must open a connection to both servers, like list the schemas on the servers, for example.

You don't need to save the changes. Just open the connection.

I'm using SP1. It worked ok.

Me and my adventures with SJES ;D
