HIGH CPU Utilization

We hava a java application (applet) which displays streaming trades using java graphics drawing. When I have installed the video card for dual monitor support, I am noticing there is high CPU utilization when the application is on the secondary monitor. The cpu shoots up to 90-95%. But when the application is running on the primary monitor, it is totally fine (cpu 10-15%).

The graphics card I am using is XENTERA GT 2 DVI PCI

Most of our clients use dual monitors and it is absolutely critical that we correct this problem. Just wanted to find out, if you have any suggestions to fix this. Any help is greatly appreciated.
