WebDAV Mounting Problems

Greetings,

I'm having trouble mounting a DAV directory on the Java Desktop (both JDS2 on Linux and JDS3 on Solaris). The directory works just fine on boh Mac and Windows, so I'm not sure what's going on here:

I've tried mounting as per the instructions at:

http://manual.intl.indoglobal.com/apbs03.html

It just keeps asking for the username & password (even if I include it in the URL), gives up, and then eventually opens the page in FireFox.

I've also tried mounting the directory through the "Network Places" interface. In JDS3, it'll mount ok as long as the web directory isn't password protected. In JDS2, it'll just ask for the password anyway, and once again, load FireFox.

If I try to access a password-protected directory through "Network Places" on JDS3, it continually prompts for the password, no matter how many times I type it in (correctly of course). My Apache log claims it's receiving a "Password Mismatch", although everything's being typed in correctly (and no I don't have Capslock on).

Is there some sort of bug with the JDS version of Gnome Nautilus that causes it to send the password incorrectly?

Is it maybe just more picky about how Apache / DAV should be set?

Thanks in advance,

Jason
