Keymap problems?

Does anyone know how i would be able to change the keymap in JDS3 on Sol10 for x86?

I've tried through desktop preferences but the keyboard just stays stuck on the default US map.

What I am trying to get is a United Kingdom keymap as it's a pain working with " and @ swapped places amongst others.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
