Newbie Question

Just installed the J2SE and then attempted to installed Sun One Forte Community Edition but keep getting 'A suitable JVM could not be found please run the installer with the command-line option -is:javahome <JAVA HOME DIR>. My java -version shows the correct version and when I attempt to use the command line option I still get the error.

I am using Windows 2000.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks,

Rob

Heheheh....I had the same problem :) (I think)

The problem I had was that I installed the JDK and/or Forte in a directory which had a space in (ie: Program Files [aka Program [Space] Files]). To rectify the problem i had to install both the JDK and Forte in a folder called 'Other_Program_Files' that sits on the C Drive (ie 'C:\Other_Program_Files\')

Hope this helps,

Dave
