How to make a read-only file writeable from IDE?

When I check in files into CSV, they become read-only locally. Is therea way to make them writeable directly from NB IDE? (like right click its node in the file system pane?).

No, there is no such action in NB IDE. It's not supported in Java, thus no way

to implement in NetBeans across all platforms.

There can be only a system-dependent action with different execution strings

for each platform. Wasn't there already a discussion about this? A lot of users

are asking for this functionality. Shouldn't this be somewhere in utilities

module?

How do I unsubscribe from this list? I have tried and am still receiving

emails from it.

Thanks,

+1 for this functionality. If it is voted off because it cannot be done

in a cross-platform manner, any pointers

about how to implement this for a windows system?

sumit.
