Office module
Hi!
I've seen a mail from Jan Jancura a while ago about him writing an office
module(calendar, contacts, ...).
See http://www.netbeans.org/servlets/ReadMsg?msgId=330139&listName=nbdev
I wonder what is happening with it? Can I get my hands on it, because
according to the pics that were attached to the mail it is just superb. :)
Best regards,
Kovi

Kovi/Jan,
This link will not show attachments, and I'm pretty intrigued about the
module,
and the other responses on this thread seem to agree with you. If you have
saved
this mail, can you send it to me?
Sumit.

Hello Gregor,
I am still working on it. I have about 700k of sources ~100 sourcefiles.
Most of work on ToDo, Calendar and Contacts is done. I am able to read /
write ToDo, Calendar and Contact items from Siemens mobile phones and
send EMails too. Now I am working on SMS decoding, repeating dates for
calendar and bugfixing.
I have only one new picture of calendar component:

Looks nice!
May I suggest that you add more phone fields :-)
At least 3 phone fields for work and 3 for home something which most of the contact managers I have seen lack support for. (Or even better - one thing Outlook does do well - as many as you like...)
Btw: will that be a NetBeans module or a standalone Application? (I can't see a reason why this should be a NetBeans module, why would I want to have that in my IDE)
Cheers
Thomas

Are the guys at productivity@netbeans.org aware of this.
I know that they are doing a tasklist ( similar to todo?)

Hi!
I like it very very much. And I think it should be a NetBeans module just
to show how powerful the interface is :))
I just hope it will not be an commercial module :)))
Hope to hear more from you..

Kovi
