Suitable JVM could not be found?!
Ok, I've reinstalled J2SE 1.40_01 twice on Win XP Pro, along with Forte For Java 4 CE, and it still gives the error "A suitable JVM could not be found. Please run the installer again using the option -is:javahome <JAVA HOME DIR>"
Well, I tried that. All it got me was "Installer could not find suitable Java 2 SDK" when install tries to search for the JVM again. Browsing to the proper folder gets the application installed, but when I try to run it, "Could not find JVM.DLL". I've checked the ide.cfg for the correct path, I have JAVA_HOME environment variable set, I've installed the J2SE in D:\JDK1.4!!
I've been unable to find suitable solution through any previous forum postings, the FAQ, or the web in general. Has anyone else tried to use Forte for Java 4 in this situation and had unfortunately similar problems?
All suggestions greatly appreciated!

Rrrr. For reference, I found my problem. The JRE install is not sufficient to run FFJ4, you need the entire SDK. Problem solved. <I should have realized this.>
