maximum number of mailboxes In NMS 4.15p7 with WinNT?

is there any problem with the maximum number of mailboxes which can be managed by Netscape Messaging Server 4.15p7 in a Windows Nt Machine?

I have 4500 mailboxes and I'm getting a lot of "hard disk errors" and I have to pass a "chkdsk" to solve this problem (too long).

any idea why I get this? this started to happen just when I added the last 50 mailboxes.

There is no fixed limit on numbers of mailboxes for any OS or version of iMS.

If you are getting disk errors, they are coming from the underlying OS, not from Messaging Server.

I cannot urge you strongly enough to get off NMS, and on to a current version.

iMS 5.2 is available for NT/Win2000.

Sun JES Messaging Server 6.1 is available for Solaris X86 and Linux.
