"General Error: Error while resolving server address"

Hi - can anyone help me with the above message

Its in the "mux" Log file in the InstantMessaging directory. I've set up everything correctly I think!?

When I start up the IM client and try to connect it just displays the egg timer and thats it...

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

I think your machine is not able to resolve the hostname. Does your dns lookup works correctly? Try giving the ip address of the machine instead of the hostname in the iim.conf file. -Rahul

Thanks Rahul, That worked great.I just have to figure out how to set up some uesrs and get them Authenticated in Sun One Directory server now!Thanks again
