Calendar 6.0 install problems

During installation I get the following error:

Valid DNS Domain Name Required.

The DNS Domain name Provided could not be validated.

The services being installed require a valid internet domain name.

Installation cannot proceed untill a valid DNS Domain Name is provided.

Enter DNS Domain Name [nts.jhu.edu] {"<" goes back, "!" exits}

That domain does exist in my resolv.conf file.

I also tried a silent install, and that failed as well. All I want to do is install Calendar to use an already existing DS.

Thanks.

I encountered this problem and found that it went away after putting the fully qualified domain name in /etc/hosts, i.e.

# cat /etc/hosts

127.0.0.1localhost

10.0.0.2somehost somehost.somedomain.org loghost

Got this from the preinstall checklist at
