Windows 2000 installation Question

Hi All,

I just downloaded the CS 5.1 and tried to install it on a win 2000 machine. I have couple of Q's abt the installation.

Before that lemme tell you a bit abt my infrastructure. I have a wireless network(SMC router). and i have couple of computers connected to this network. here are the details abt it as i see on the status page of my router.

INTERNET

Cable/DSL: CONNECTED

WAN IP: 64.50.9.216

Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.278

Gateway: 64.50.9.251

Primary DNS: 207.155.183.73

Secondary DNS: 207.155.184.72

GATEWAY

P Address: 192.168.2.1

Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0

DHCP Server: Enabled

Firewall: Enabled

And my system is configured to obtain IP address automatically and DNS server address automatically

1. When i install CS5.1 it says 'unable to make network connection' and asks me the DNS domain name. What should i give there?

I saw another post here saying this can be resolved by going to control panel --> System --> 'Network Identification' tab --> Properties --> 'more' button --> type in the DNS suffix. But I am not sure what to type in here.......

2. Assuming i typed in some thing there(DNS suffix) like 'xyz.com' after restarting the installation program seems to go past that pont, but again i am prompted to type in the values for LDAP server. Shoul i have an LDAP server in my machine? if so what do you guys suggest ?

thanx a lot in advance for any help i can get

Yes, you need an LDAP server to bind the calendar server to. The LDAP server authenicates users and stores user calendar information such has calendars owned, calendars subscribed to and user preferences, etc. . .

http://serpens.bleuphish.com:8080/

on the server machine where the Calendar server resides.

when i try to access the '
