debugger hangs

Just installed j2sdk-1_4_1_02-windows-i586.exe on my Windows Server 2003 machine. -- Walked thru the colorswitch tutorial. Got to the debugger step: Studio 4 hangs at this point. Do I have the right version?thanks,roy

Sorry, the file name I gave was for the sdk. The Studio 4 download I used is: ffj_ce_win32.exe.roy

This is a well-known JDK bug which causes the debugger to hang in Sun ONE Studio 4. If you insist on using S1S4, I suggest you downgrade your JDK to 1.3.
However, I recommend that you try the latest version of the IDE, Sun ONE Studio 5 which supports JDK 1.4.1_02 and above.
