JRE 1.42 fails to load in win xp with matrox g550?

I also tried installing version 1.41, ouch both stall the computer then give a error message disabling my matrox g550 second moniter and bring the primary moniter from 32 bit huge screen size to 4bit? and very small screen size.

I have windows xp sp2 and 2.4ghz p4 whatever. I was having no probelms before this. I have tried other matrox drivers for the g550 with different jre versions.... its funny the old version worked.... that was maybe 1.2 or before a little.
