Got it... installed it... here's what doesn't work

First issue: my network cards were detected, one onboard 10/100/1000 ether and one wireless ethernet Netgear PCI card (MA311). My net connection is via the netgear and none of the wireless options are available for me to set - how do I fix this?

Also, I must have not checked the right box because the c compiler is NOT installed. How do I install this and other bin/libs ? I assume that there is a cc somewhere on these disks...

No net connection and no compiler... not very useful at the moment...

gcc compiler should be in the distribution, just check the install cd's for a gcc rpm.

yes you are correct... install program app has all the files I need.

Tech support finally got back to me on the network card - they are still looking into it. My card doesn't show up on the HCL list on the SuSE site, so I'm guessing I'll have to hack this one on my own.

Thanks!
