[SunONE-JATO] components?
Hi Hugh--
S1AF 2.0 was just released recently, and there is currently no public Sun
component repository available. We are working to make this happen, but I
can't promise a delivery date.
I'm sorry, but the calendar component we demonstrated is not publicly
available. It and related components come from an internal Sun effort that
was undertaken before S1AF 2.0 was available. Therefore, it is not fully
componentized. We would like to make the calendar and other components
available to everyone, but again I can't promise a delivery date for them.
Please note, however, that the standard component library shipped with the
product includes ViewBeans, ContainerViews, TiledViews, and all the standard
HTML-based fields you saw in the demo. Also note that the
ContainerView/TiledView components you build in the Studio are components
that are available within your current application. You can reuse those
components in several places within your application, so this may help you
evaluate how this feature works.

This shouldn't prevent you from explaining here how to write/package
components ;?) Craig hinted here some great features but I think we
really need a quick&dirty 101.
Thanx,
