Bug in Community Edition of Sun ONE Studio or JATO Community Edition?

I'd appreciate knowing if anybody has seen the following, or knows how

I can get around it.

I downloaded the Community Editions of Sun ONE Studio and

Sun ONE Application Framework (JATO) and installed them on

my Windows XP box. That went fine. When I tried to do the

JATO Tutorial app, however, things got weird.

If I start the Studio and try to add a CustomerModel to the app,

I get a 'java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: com/sun/forte4j/

webdesigner/xmlcomponent/Util' error as soon as I click on

JDBC SQL Query Model in the 'Select Model Type' dialog (I don't have

to press any other buttons.) The really odd thing is, when I restart

the Studio and redo the operation, it gets past this point if the

Pointbase DB Server has not been started, and then fails because

it can't find the 'jdbc/sample' database connection I defined earlier.

This is reasonable, since that connection points to Pointbase.

Anybody know what's going on here? A fix or workaround would

be GREATLY appreciated!

Cheers,

Dave Combs

Dave,

I had the exact issue with the CE module but EE module worked fine. I assumed it had something to do with my "misconfigured" environment as I had some other temporary issues at the time as well that have gone away.

We will look into this and provide more feedback soon.

Thanks for reporting this and sorry for the delay with a response.
